Tavush is the most beautiful, and most forested region of Armenia.
Tavush region borders with Georgia and AzerbaIjevan. The Tavush forest zone occupies about 40% of the area (about 30% of the RA forest fund). The main tree species are beech, oak, hornbeam, linden, ash, maple, birch, juniper, walnut, forest berry plants there, wild pear, apple, plum, etc.Â
